When book publishing baffles me

Posted on the October 31st, 2009 under Uncategorized by rob

I was queuing up in Borders today and had to buy the attached book.

I’m astounded how either the publisher or the author can make any
money out of it.

I mean 99p!

Alex Kellerman has written countless books, but I still fail to see
how this is a good deal. Please can someone explain?

Five-year-old bodybuilder in record books after TV stunt

Posted on the October 29th, 2009 under Uncategorized by rob

“Romanian Giuliano Stroe, five, has been training since the age of two in Italy…He was entered into the record books earlier this year after performing some impressive ‘hand-walking’ skills to a panel of judges and an astonished audience on an Italian TV show”

Who on earth trains their son to be a bodybuilder from the age of 2? I mean, some people are just plain weird. Right?
